What's new

It's the organic festival, La Route du Gout on Saturday and Sunday. Now in its fourth year, the event was launched by Paolo Sari, Michelin-starred organic chef of Monte Carlo Beach. There's a market on Quai Antoine 1er with competitions, demonstrations and tastings.

The Alba White Truffle Fair opened last weekend in Piedmont, which means that several Monaco restaurants are now featuring the gastronomic funghi on their menus. Check out Polpetta's tagliatelle with white truffles, and La Piazza's tagliolini, beef carpaccio, and risotto. Some places use black truffles all year round, such as Rampoldi, with its truffle pizza.

If you have 490 euros to spare, you can take your taste for truffles to another level. Chefs Eric Bouchenoire and Christophe Cussac have jointly designed a 9-course white truffle dinner at Joel Robuchon in the Metropole Hotel. It's to be served on one night only tho', 28 November, so you'll need to reserve on +377 93 15 15 15 10 or email restaurant[at]metropole.com.

And finally give a shout out to all young women tomorrow to show your support and encouragement for International Day of the Girl.
