What's new

Good news if you've got kids to entertain, as Princess Antoinette Park's mini golf course is open. Up to six players are allowed per group, everyone must wear a mask, and there'll be a waiting time of 15 minutes between groups. Open 10:00-19:00, Tue to Sun, 5 euros per player.

Thierry Trehet of Cinemas2Monaco has been speaking to Gazette de Monaco hoping to encourage us to start going to the movies again. The Open Air Cinema's program of old classics has proved popular and continues this weekend with Wolf of Wall Street and Slumdog Millionaire.

Following the opening of Bettina's store on rue Plati (see 23 July 2020 newsletter), the Monegasque company's face masks are now available elsewhere in the Principality. You can buy them in Pharmacie Marsan on Place d'Armes, Monte Carlo Bay boutique at Larvotto, at the shoe repair shop in Fontvieille, and Casino supermarket in Port Hercule. Alternatively, order online at: bettina.mc

Zara Monaco is set to reopen soon. The company expects to be doing business again in September, quashing rumours of a move from its deluxe Monte Carlo location to a more modest shopping area.

And finally, better late than never the Hotel de Paris has signed up to Mr Goodfish (see 24 October 2013 newsletter). It follows the Hermitage, which joined the program in 2015, Monte Carlo Bay and Thermes Marins in 2016, and Cafe de Paris in 2019. So now you can eat your fish with a clear conscience. Enjoy!
