What's new

There was disappointment for Sam Smith fans last week, as the English singer songwriter cancelled his June performance at the Grimaldi Forum due to problems with his vocal chords.  After undergoing surgery in Boston the star is expected to make a full recovery and to start singing again in July.

July is also the start of Monte Carlo SBM's Sporting Summer Festival, for which we've now posted our one page guide. There are plenty of big names and musical shows on stage at the Salle des Etoiles. For something more intimate, Note Bleue has published its schedule of jazz, which starts in June with local band The Socca Men.

We don't need to remind you that it's Grand Prix this weekend and in addition to our party guide, we've put together a selection of alternative hospitality options for viewing the race.

Finally, don't forget that Monday is a holiday. Enjoy!
